One last look at this view… then off to Sanur.
And it’s time to take the boat to Sanur. The end of the trip is near, and we don’t want to go 🙁
Well, we almost stayed on Nusa Lembongan, as the shuttle forgot about us. And the taxi ride to the hotel in Sanur was very bugging… Haha the end of this trip was a bit chaotic ! (to read all about the transports in Bali, click here)
After all this craziness, we finally made it to our hotel !
Photo by CaroFor our stay in Sanur, we found a little jem : Linda Villa. It’s a few minutes walk from the city center. We had a junior suite, with direct access to the pool. A large room, bathroom, living room that we didn’t use. There was also an outside kitchen to share with the upstairs room (but we didn’t use it, as we preferred to discover the local specialties). You can book your room by clicking here 🙂
Sanur is a seaside city, pretty crowded, but the public is a bit older than in Kuta. If you want peace and quiet, I wouldn’t recommend Sanur. We decided to stay here as the city is not far from the airport, and it was easier for us to take our plane the next day.
We had a walk in the city, did some shopping (we found a nice little shop where we didn’t have to haggle : after 2 weeks, it was refreshing), but we spent most of the day at the pool (though the weather wasn’t the greatest). After the boat ride (read here) and the taxi ride (read here), we were a bit tired and wanted to rest. So the (almost private) pool was ideal for our last day.
